Samsung Galaxy A70 starts receiving Android 11 updateNEW DELHI: Samsung is busy rolling out Android 11 update for its smartphones and Samsung Galaxy A70 is the latest device to join this list.

Launched in 2019, this is the second major software update for the smartphone. The device was launched with Android 9.0 Pie operating system and it received Android 10 update last year.

The Android 11 update comes with firmware version A705FNXXU5DUC6 and it also brings Samsung’s latest One UI 3.1 to the smartphone.

The OTA update weighs 1.9GB in size and it also brings the security patch for the month of March. The software update will enable the Galaxy A70 users to experience features like default screen recorder, better media controller, native smart home control, one-time permission to apps, security fixes via Google Play and others.

To recall, the Samsung Galaxy A70 comes with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Infinity U AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy A70 packs 128GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 512GB by adding a microSD card.

The smartphone sports a triple rear camera with a 64MP main sensor with LED flash and f/1.8 aperture, 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. There is also a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture on the front.

Samsung Galaxy A70 houses a 4500mAh battery with 25W super-fast charging support and comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
