OnePlus 9 series smartphones to get 2-years warranty but not in India: ReportOnePlus has announced that the upcoming OnePlus 9 series phones– OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro– will get two-years warranty in China. However, OnePlus has confirmed that India and other countries will not two-years warranty and the company will stick to the standard one-year warranty policy, as per a report by
Android Authority. In Europe, two-year warranty is mandated by law.

Having said that two-years of warranty on smartphones is something new in China and CEO Pete Lau took to Weibo to announce the same recently.

OnePlus 9 series– OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro– is set to launch on March 23. There are also speculations of OnePlus launching the OnePlus 9 Lite, but in the later half of the year. Reports suggest that the OnePlus 9 may sport a 6.55-inch display with Full HD+ resolution. OnePlus 9 Pro has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Quad HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. OnePlus 9 Pro is likely to come with 45W fast charging and reverse wireless charging.

The smartphones will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and will likely launch with Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 out-of-the-box.

There are no details available about OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro pricing. OnePlus latest flagship, OnePlus 8T, is priced at Rs 42,999 onwards. While OnePlus 8 Pro is priced at Rs 54,999. It’s likely that OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro phones will be priced similarly.
